This is a 5 hour cruise from Herne Bay,including 1 hour at a sandbank. With the right wind we sail both ways, but often have to motor one way. Be prepared to be ferried by rubber dinghy, paddle ashore with boots or bare feet and bring warm clothing including something waterproof. All the latest safety equipment is provided.If you wish, bring a picnic, binoculars and a camera. Toilets available near Divers Arms by the Clock Tower, Herne Bay and a toilet tent on 'Wildlife. On a good day, swimming with the seals in clean shallow water is possible following the strict guidelines. No need to swim to them they swim to us!
